What is The Bad Shepherd about?

The story kicks off with a group of friends on a hunting trip who find themselves in a bit of a situation after an accident involving a bag of money. While their first instincts lean toward doing the right thing, the large amount of cash and the appearance of a mysterious figure test their loyalties and moral boundaries.

The Bad Shepherd combines elements of suspense, drama, and thriller genres and is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat as it explores how decisions you make in the heat of the moment can have serious consequences.

Behind-the-scenes insights

The filmmakers worked hard to capture the characters' moral dilemmas accurately and are particularly proud of the authentic wilderness settings. Behind-the-scenes footage offers further glimpses into the dedication and teamwork that went into creating this modern thriller.

It’s rated R for violence and language throughout, so it’s not a great choice for youngsters, but it’s a great choice for fans of suspenseful stories with lots of twists and turns. If you appreciate films like No Country for Old Men and The Hateful Eight, you will probably like this. It also has the feel of classic shows like The Twilight Zone and Tales from the Darkside if you like those.

I enjoyed it and thought it was a fun watch despite it not having the highest ratings on IMDB. It’s a little predictable and not without plot problems, but it kept me interested and watching until the end.
