Hulu already has an incredibly diverse library of great shows and movies, but there is always room for more. While they have already released several great shows this month, two more are about to arrive, and you need to check them out. These shows promise to offer viewers unique narratives and thought-provoking themes.
Say Nothing
Say Nothing will arrive on Hulu on November 14, 2024, and is a nine-episode limited series created by FX. It is based on Patrick Radden Keefe’s acclaimed nonfiction book, “Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland.” It explores the tumultuous period known as The Troubles, with extra focus on the 1972 abduction of Jean McConville, a mother of ten, and the intricate web of events that followed. It spans four decades with a deep exploration of the conflict’s impact on the people in the area.
The cast includes Lola Petticrew as Dolours Price, Hazel Doupe as Marian Price, and Anthony Boyle as Brendan Hughes. All episodes will be available for streaming on Hulu starting November 14.
Interior Chinatown
Interior Chinatown will debut on Hulu on November 19, 2024. It’s a 10-episode series adapted from Charles Yu’s award-winning novel of the same name. The story follows Willis Wu, portrayed by Jimmy O. Yang, a background actor in a police procedural who dreams of breaking free from stereotypical roles and getting a bigger spot.
When he inadvertently becomes a witness to a crime, Willis finds himself on a journey that challenges the way he looks at Chinatown. Taika Waititi directs this complex series and serves as an executive producer, a name you may also recognize from another popular Hulu show, What We Do in the Shadows.
Both “Say Nothing” and “Interior Chinatown” offer fresh perspectives and narratives that will likely resonate with audiences and keep them entertained.
