The Bear, which has been deemed a comedy (I am still unsure about this classification), aired its third season back in June. While it did not receive the audience acclaim the season before it did, it was quite an insight into the psyche of Carmy's (Jeremy Allen White) mind.

As we look ahead to what could come in a fourth season, we are all wondering what comes next for Carmy. The third season ended on a cliffhanger as Carmy finally reads the Chicago Tribune review. It appears to make him quite frustrated as the credits roll just as he expresses himself colorfully, to say the least. Could it be that a Michelin star will not be in in the near future for the Bear restaurant?

It would track, given how Carmy's luck has played out over the last season or so, especially after the ending of Season 2. Carmy found himself stuck in a freezer with all his anxieties surfacing up like a pressure cooker, and it led to some major repercussions going into Season 3. While that was a personal blow to Carmy's life, it looks like Season 4 may be digging more into his professional life, especially after that review.

It is all up in the air, and we will be sitting here patiently waiting to see what comes next for Carmy and the cousins when The Bear airs *hopefully* sometime next year.

Has The Bear Season 4 started filming?

John Landgraf, who is responsible for FX Content and FX Productions, spoke to Deadline about Season 4, which is apparently mostly filmed. "We finished most of it," said Landgraf. "We haven't finished all of it, but we finished most of it, and it will be ready [in June] next year."

So, does this mean they'll wrap up filming by the late spring and target yet another June premiere date? Based on what Landgraf had to say, I would think so, or at least hope for.

What will The Bear Season 4 be about?

The plot details are not revealed as of yet, but given how Season 3 closed out, we can assume it will pick up in the aftermath of the Chicago Tribune review. There will be repercussions, and it will definitely take a toll on Carmy who has been internally miserable for quite some time.

There is also the question of Sydney who was being poached for Shapiro's restaurant. Wil she leave Carmy and start fresh elsewhere? Or will she stay with the madness of Carmy and his family because it feels like home? Maybe a bit toxic, but still home.

Who will be in The Bear Season 4?

As far as new characters go, we don't have any details on that yet, but we can assume the original cast is all set to return including White, Ayo Edebiri (Sydney), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Richie), Abby Elliot (Natalie), Liza Colón-Zayas (Tina), Lionel Boyce (Marcus), Oliver Platt (Jimmy), Matty Matheson (Neil), and Chris Witaske (Pete). There is always the opportuntiny for Jon Bernthal's Mikey to show up in flashback scenes so don't count him out just yet, or maybe even Jamie Lee Curtis or Bob Odenkirk.

Speaking of which, we can probably expect to see more cameos as has been the trend for seasons past which have included John Cena, Odenkirk, Curtis, Will Poulter, Joel McHale, amongst others.
