Fear The Walking Dead Season 5: Are Dwight and John Dorie headed for a collision?

In “The Little Prince”, John Dorie found another clue about Sherry’s whereabouts but kept it hidden from Dwight. Could these two Fear The Walking Dead stars be headed for a major collision?

On the latest episode of Fear The Walking Dead, John Dorie (Garret Dillahunt) and Dwight (Austin Amelio) got one step closer to finding Sherry (Christine Evangelista). They traced her back to an old house where John found a letter for Dwight.

When John reads the letter, he’s stunned by Sherry’s declaration. She isn’t leaving another clue for them to track down but rather a final goodbye to her husband. Sherry tells Dwight to stop looking for her and to move on with his life. The runaway Savior finishes her letter by stating that she’ll no longer be leaving clues for them to follow.

As shocking as that revelation was, the more surprising bit was John’s decision to keep the letter secret from Dwight. John came close to telling his new friend the truth but spared him the pain. Dwight undoubtedly would’ve been heartbroken so it’s probably a good thing that John kept it hidden.

On the other hand, Dwight might not be too thrilled to learn that John kept such a crucial piece of information from him. He was fairly deranged when June (Jenna Elfman) and John came across him the first time, a lie like that could push Dwight past his breaking point. And if that happens, one can only imagine the type of confrontation that would unfold.

Without speculating too much, Dwight is likely to pull a gun on his friend. John is just as quick with a pistol, but if a shootout were to take place, it’s reasonable to assume John could be fatally injured. There’s also a possibility that June may get caught in the crossfire. She’s just as protective of her boyfriend and seems like she’d sacrifice herself for John if need be.
