With the Manifest Season Finale just one week away, fans are dying to know how it’ll all end. Check out a promo and preview for episode sixteen below.

Warning! Potential spoilers for NBC’s Manifest follow. You’ve been warned.

There’s been guesses as to how Manifest would wrap up its first season and we’re only one week away from finding out. Everything from aliens to religious deities has been suggested but no theory has been confirmed yet. Fortunately, the truth will be exposed by none other than Olive Stone (Luna Blaise) during the season finale.

A recently released promo for episode sixteen “Estimated Time Of Departure” includes dialogue from Oliver where she talks about the truth being right in front of them—referring to the mystery they’ve been trying to unravel. The question is—will that be accompanied by a major character death?

On every TV show that deals heavily in death, major losses are common. In Manifest’s case, there hasn’t been one in some time and we’re overdue. Plenty of ancillary characters have come and gone, just no one we’d miss too much. However, considering what Cal (Jack Messina) just predicted about his family, the show is about to lose a few members of the team.

As we’ve seen over the past fifteen episodes of NBC’s Manifest, Cal’s predictions have all come true. He’s drawn them into his notepad and they’ve come to life right before our very eyes. Cal’s next one foretells his own death.

An image of three tombstones with Michaela, Ben, and Cal’s names on them are drawn into his notepad. He obviously doesn’t want this prophecy to become a reality but how can he prevent this Calling from coming true when every other one has?

Additionally, Jared (J.R. Ramirez) and Zeke (Matt Long) also appear to be in some sort of altercation. We saw this coming after their intense exchange in episode fifteen, though none of us could have predicted that they’d physically fight each other.

Another screengrab shows Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh) walking in on said fight. The shocked expression on her face tells us something ghastly is happening, but what? Will the fight between Zeke and Jared end with one of them tragically injured? All it’ll take is one slip or a hyper-aggressive move to end the other’s life.

In any case, Zeke’s story is starting to fall apart at the seams so maybe Jared’s hunch was right. He avoided being identified after he was detained by Jared and glimpses of Zeke in the episode sixteen promo depict him skulking around an alley with a gun in his hand.

The context of this particular scene could be anything, but if Zeke truly is behind something devious, Michaela and Jared are in for a rude awakening. Our concern is what Zeke seeks to gain from this whole experience. Is he working for someone or is there some sick purpose for invading the Stones’ lives?
